Dr. Dominic Winski completed his B.A. in Earth Sciences at Dartmouth College in 2009, his M.S. in Quaternary and Climate Studies at the University of Maine in 2011, and his PhD in Earth Sciences at Dartmouth College in 2018. His research primarily focuses on the responses of regional climate systems to global-scale changes in climate. He specializes in using ice cores as an archive of past climate change, particularly as a means of reconstructing temperature, precipitation and atmospheric circulation. Winski is currently a research assistant professor at the University of Maine.
